- Web Design for Beginners

Starting with the very basics, this course will show you how to design a simple yet very effective web site. Your site will load quickly and be easy for your visitors to navigate, consist of multiple pages, images, simple animation and hyperlinks.
If you have access to the Internet through an ISP
(Internet Service Provider), you should have free web
space available to you. Why not use this to promote
your business, hobbies, clubs or societies, or just
use it as an easy way to keep friends and family up
to date with all your news?

Whether you're new to Word, or have a basic knowledge, this course will take you through all the basic skills and a bit beyond.
You will learn how to set out your documents, format
text, cut and paste, add pictures, borders and backgrounds,
create labels and envelopes, check spelling and grammar
and much more besides.
This course covers most of the
requirements of the ECDL Word module.
April 2007 - Wednesday 11th
- Excel - Basics and Beyond
Whether you're new to Excel, or have a basic knowledge,
this course will take you through all the basic skills
and a bit beyond.
You will learn how to set up an Excel
spreadsheet, input data and work with simple formulas
and functions. You will produce graphs and charts to
show your results in a visual format, and use shortcuts
for carrying out calculations, link
worksheets together and much more.
This course covers
most of the requirements of the ECDL Excel module.

the Internet and Email or those of you who wish to
explore further the opportunities offered by the world
wide web.

search for information, buy online, keep in contact
with loved ones across the miles and much, much more...

- Powerpoint - Extend Your Skills
This course is designed for those who have used PowerPoint
before, but who wish to extend their skills and knowledge
to take full advantage of the opportunities offered
by this program.
Participants will be given a quick
revision of the basics, and will then cover areas such
as advanced drawing, adding sound and voice narration,
video, custom shows, using hyperlinks
